About Speaker:
Mr. Syed Ahmed Ali Abidi is a student of Religious Studies at the University of Erfurt and is also affiliated as a researcher with the Max Weber Research Center. Mr. Abidi has previously attended seminary classes with scholars in Iran and Iraq. He has also served as a researcher at the Al-Hikma Foundation for Studies and Research founded by Mr. Ammar al-Hakim in Iraq. Additionally, he is associated with the Global Shi'ism Institute in Isfahan. Starting this October, he is set to begin a Ph.D. at FU Berlin on the topic “Clergy and the State: A Contemporary Historical Account.”
